This summer I joined a group of artist, scientist, and locals in British Columbia’s Flathead River valley (known as the “North Fork of the Flathead” in the states). We were participating in the first “BioBlitz” in the area doing an inventory on species and habitats that make up the Flathead.
To learn more about the Flathead visit: Flathead.ca. To show your support of legislation to protect the North Fork of the Flathead in the United States visit: Protect Glacier. My thanks to Wildsight, Headwaters MT, NPCA, Sierra Club BC, Yellowstone to Yukon, and CPAWS for inviting me to come photograph during the BioBlitz.
